In the morning, us students were given some free time to roam around before the Catacombes opened so my friends and I roamed around a market area to look at the local food stores.
More Poisson. (I’m starting to laugh because I don’t particularly like fish and I’m getting spell checks like “poison”)
Beacoup des fraises. C’est très mignon et ce n’est pas chère-les fraises à Hong Kong est très chère ($50 HKD) mais à Pairs c’est seulement $30 HKD.
La Confiture. I bought 2 different types of jam: Fig and Raspberry.
After around 1 and ½ hour of free time, we finally got to enter the dark and creepy catacombs.
I think these skulls and bones are kind of staining the cute and bubbly atmosphere this blog was supposed to take but I guess it’s time to welcome ourselves to the dark side… 😉
Just a drain.
Okay, the creepy part is finally over! After this, we went to a café called Indiana for a short lunch. I got the Indian Chicken Burger, which was rather oily but still a pretty good lunch!
Choco-Story Paris. This is a chocolate museum and a chocolate workshop all in one!
Made chocolate with my friends.
White chocolate disks and chocolate covered marshmallows.
Trying out the different types of Chocolate from different beans around the world.
Shopping at the Galerie Lafayette.
Grabbed some Macarons-chocolate, raspberry, citrus and praline flavoured.
The mockingjay is alive!
P.S. Happy Halloween!
